IT'S A GIRL
The Gender Annoucement was a great success for all!!! Cliff and I were joined by my mom, my dad and Diana, Cliff's parents, and Mrs. Cathey!!! We all enjoyed a delicious meal from Babe's and then the time had come for the cake cutting. Everyone was filled with anticipation as we cut the cake and at last before i even pulled the slice out, my mom saw a little flake of cake from inside and of course it was PINK!!! IT'S A GIRL!!!

Deer hunting... Then WWIII
Cliff and I headed to the deer lease on Saturday for a little hunting fun. We got there just about at sun up, because we were running late as usual. Anyhow about 15 minutes of sitting in the stand we here a gun shot. I look at Cliff and ask if that might be my dad on the other side of the lease. No biggie. So we sit there and about 15 minutes later we hear about 6 gun shots almost in a row. So by that time i call my dad and no answer, so text him. He texts back and tells me that my Uncle Bill and him have 3 bucks on the ground. Here is what we found when we got there!!! We stayed so Cliff could help them basically "gut" them... After experiencing such a gorry morning, I now know I can stomach anything!!!

It's a .......!!! and... Happy Birthday Cliffy!!!

Well after going to my doctor's appointment on November 1, Dr. Pierce finally gave me the release to get a sonogram for a week and a half later being November 11, 2010... Cliff and I considered that day pretty lucky for some reason and also being a day before Cliff's 28th birthday.
Through many trials and tribulations, Cliff was finally able to go to the appointment. He had to stay up an entire 26 hours, but he said it was worth it to be there when Lori, the sono tech, made the official announcement. She said its 100%, no doubt about it, and I could shop my little heart away and prepare for this little butterbean's arrival.
Being that Cliff is on the night crew right now, we are not able to announce to our parents until November 21. We will be meeting at Babe's in Frisco and making the announcement of the gender and name!!! The anticipation is building!!!
Anyhow here are a few stats of the baby as of Week 23 of my pregnancy:
Weight: 1 pound 3 ounces (healthy little stinker!!!)
Heartbeat: 142 B.P.M.
Everything looks perfect according the the sonogram tech and we will go back in a week and a half to see Dr. Pierce.
Cliff said this is the best gift he could ever receive early for his birthday!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLIFFY!!!

Girl Bedding
New Diaper Bag!!!
Since Cliff was gone hunting in Arkansas for the week I decided to go visit my mom and she ended up taking off a day from work so we could go look at baby stuff! We actually ended up going to Tyler and invited my grandmama to go with us to Storkland there. We had a fabulous lunch at Potpourri and then went to Storkland. Mom said she would go ahead and buy my bag for me and we got to the register and my grandmama got for me instead! I absolutely love it! its a Kalencom, so its laminate, and then comes with a changing pad, insulated bottle holder and laminate bag to hold miscellaneous baby items! Basically this is my new purse!!! I can't wait to use it!!!

Between 20 and 21 weeks

Woohoo for the half-way mark!!! I went to the doctor on October 14 and everything was looking great. Still strong heartbeat, my blood pressure was great and I even lost weight this visit!!! I was super stoked! My next visit is November 1 and Dr. Pierce will decide then if I am far enough along to his satisfaction to go ahead and schedule a sonogram so I can finally know the gender of my little butterbean! Cliff and I are getting very anxious!!! Ready to plan and decorate the nursery!!!
Garage Cleaning ... Part 1
Well the garage was getting on my nerves and stuff kept piling up, so I took time to clean. I organized all of my cleaning stuff and backup products on the shelf... Cleaned the entire garage with the shop vac and even mopped the garage with Pine Sol. Yes... I think I am now officially categorized as on OCD cleaner!!! However, the garage is sparkling and clean. Part 2 is yet to happen, but this is more of Cliff's organization and I will have it all out of whack if I even try to begin the process there!

Joe T's for Birthday
Birthday love

I told Cliff not to do anything for my birthday this year, since we still had doctor bills to pay for his surgery on his hand and the fact of having to have my OB paid in full in December. Then the root canal definitely topped it off. But low and behold, he always goes the extra mile to show he cares!
Day of fun for my birthday
So since Cliff was working nights on my actual birthday and all days around we decided to spend a day going to lunch and to the movies. That all changed with the root canal and pain I was having, but we made up the day and finally went and saw Social Network! Loved the movie!!! We walked around the mall and just enjoyed the day together since it had been close to 2 weeks with the new shift!
Root Canal.. OH NO!
So the pain started in August and was just on and off. It would hurt a few days, then stop. I went to the dentist for a checkup and x-rays didn't show a thing back in August. Well the day after my birthday the pain intensified!!! Called the dentist and made another appointment. X-rays taken again and nothing still. So the dentist decided to smooth one side of my mouth out to maybe correct the bite a little. I was on Tylenol while there since the pain got bad before I got in, so didn't feel much. 5:30 hit that evening and I was in complete tears. I was freaking out knowing that my blood pressure and stress levels were thru the roof, Cliff was working nights, and I was just in complete pain. I went to Walmart for Ambesol and that didn't do a thing for the next 14 hours. Nor did the Tylenol. So I was awake all night with an ice pack on my face since I thought it was swelling. It was Wednesday by now and I called the doctor first thing. Went in and they noticed that my sinus cavities were inflammed, just like my cheek and its was filled with infection. So I was placed on an antibiotic and got some Tylenol 3 for pain! Both pregnancy safe!
So I waited until the following Monday and went in bright and early (7:30 am) Monday morning to downtown Fort Worth for a possible root canal. Low and behold that procedure was performed! It was smooth and easy, even though I was scared to death. I even brought Cliff with me and I never do that! Dr. Torgenson was a dream come true. Her staff was great and my mouth was soon to be pain free!!! Here I am 2 weeks later and feeling much better! I will go back in January, once the insurance covers more again and get a crown on that tooth!

Busy bee... 18 weeks along
As usual, I have been busy!!! Not sure where my time has escaped too! Well the deer lease is a big part of it, but I have enjoyed every minute hanging out with Cliffy and helping him a little, even though most is mutual support! He had lots of work to do as usual this year and then in addition to moving his stand and it falling over in a storm one moved. Extra time was definitely vested there.
I am feeling great!!! I can't complain overall, though I still have the right to complain a little! My hips have really been hurting lately, but its completely normal. But wow, I never experienced growing pains growing up, but now I definitely have gotten the privilege of having them later in life!
I'm craving lots of sweet, fruits and Mexican food lately. The sweets parts i could do without, but what can I say.
I go back on October 14th for another appointment and may find out that day or within 2 weeks of the appointment to what I am having! Cliff and I are getting very anxious!!!
Today is also my 29th birthday and I am incredibly blessing with an amazing husband, parents, in laws, family and friends!!! I'm not doing much since Cliff is working nights and sleeping during the day, but just the sweet message and cards have meant so much this year as I grow another year older. I can't wait to celebrate my 30th next year with my little doll!!!
Hope everyone has a blessed week and day! XOXO~~~

Zzzzzz....
Well for the past few months both Cliff and I have complained about the mattress we have in our room and our restless nights. I've been researching things online and decided to go with a Memory Foam Mattress Topper. I've looked several times when I am out at several department store and such and never found one thick enough. My mother in law told me to always get the 4 inch one, the rest were a waste. So while at our weekend shopping at Walmart Cliff found one and I came home and researched a little and read consumer reviews on it.
We went out on the line and got one and now absolutely love it. I have actually been sleeping through the night more and also being able to go back to sleep easier. Cliff has slept better on his short night and feels so much more rested in the mornings than he use too.
Anyhow, just wanted to pass along our purchase, which has turned out to be a fabulous deal for us in so many ways!!!
The name is: Canopy Hypoallergenic 4" Memory Foam Mattress Topper
Fall cleaning... BLEACH

Well since I have been home lots and lots of cleaning has been done. Its the kind of cleaning I haven't put a lot of effort into during the 3 years we have lived here in the house. But the time has come and i definitely have the time on my hands now.
So today I got the Clorox spray bleach out and started on all of my white doors and light switches. It was going so good for so long and then all of a sudden I swear I was feeling tipsy! So I thought I better stop, don't think little Butterbean was appreciating the cleaning and especially the bleach. But wow what a difference it makes on white doors!!!

Labor Day
So since Cliff was working, as usual, on a holiday, I went and picked up my mom for some shopping!!! Definately a mom and daughter hobby!!!
She found the fabulous additional 20% off deal at Buy Buy Baby, so we went there first and got the goodies. We went to a few other baby store and also hit up a few stores at the mall. I don't have much patience for ignorant people these days, so the mall trip didn't last long and didn't find much.
She treated me to a wonderful lunch at Mazziato's! Yummy Mexican food, which I continue to be able to eat and enjoy so far!
I was worn out by the time the day was over and headed home to get there before Cliff arrived home from his job, and we had a lovely bowl of cereal for dinner!
