- Insomnia - I will literally wake up during the middle of the night and put in a DVD and watch the entire movie or play games on my phone for 2 - 3 hours. No fun, but doesn't seem to even phase the bear I am married too!
- Nausea - Yep it happens. But usually can eat some crackers, yogurt or fruit and feel fine. I think its just not eating as often as I should. Hard to change old habits.
- Headaches - Definately occur, especially when I never got them before unless out in the sun for long hours. But thankful for being allowed to take good ol' Tylenol!
- Frequent peeing - I know TMI, but yes... I read in one of my books that it should soon subside since there shouldn't be so much pressure on my bladder. Thank goodness!
- Fruit - I can't get enough. I've eaten so many apples and oranges and strawberries, that I might turn into one. But so yummy!
- Ice cream - Imagine that!!! And yes I even tried the new Cotton Candy flavor from Blue Bell. Its ok, but can only take in small doses.
- Jalapenos - Yep hot and spicy. I want them on everything.. Burgers, pizza, taco salad, etc. i know I am going to die later when the heartburn kicks in full throttle. Definately going to need to resort to something more friendly to the digestive system.
I went to my first doctors appointment on Thursday to see Dr. Pierce and his wonderful staff. Cliff and I were so excited about the visit and to officially hear the good news. I had this weird feeling in my mind, like what if I really wasn't pregnant or something and I told everyone and was thinking I was moving right along and there was really nothing... But that was quickly confirmed and Joy told me I was 11 weeks along and due March 10, all which I thought. My visit was mainly lots and lots of questions and blood work. I basically gave my life history and also told what i wanted when the delivery time came. Dr. Pierce told me there will be no problem if my water does break at home, that I will have plenty of time to get to Allen Presby. So Cliff will definately I'm sure still drive like a mad man to the hospital just for that fact that he can. Dr. Pierce gave me the guidelines and what i could have and not have, etc. I got tons of information and prenatal vitamins and calcium and iron too. Love free stuff. We got the total amount that we would owe Dr. Pierce, which was a huge blessing. i love being on Cliff's insurance!!! It rocks! While there at the hospital, we also visited registration, to get the amount we will owe the hospital too. Everyone knows I am a HUGE planner and need to know figures so I can work into my budget, especially since I am jobless right now. Anyhow... Lots of excitement in our world and we go back in a month and should be able to hear the heartbeat then.
For now you can imagine our baby the size of a lime... :)
